Olympic Medal: M Table Tennis Singles

Zhang Jike of China won the Olympic gold medal Thursday in the men”s singles of table tennis.

Zhang defeated countryman Wang Hao for the championship. Both the men”s and women”s singles finals of table tennis were all-Chinese affairs at this year”s Olympics.

The bronze medal went to Dimitrij Ovtcharov of Germany.
