Former “Nightly News” anchor Tom Brokaw went to a hospital in Charlotte, N.C., early Thursday because he felt light-headed, MSNBC said.

Brokaw, 72, is in town for the Democratic National Convention.

“On the set of ”Morning Joe” this morning, Tom Brokaw felt light-headed. Out of an abundance of caution, he was taken to a hospital and is being evaluated,” MSNBC said in a statement issued to TMZ.
