The last factory bottling 6.5 ounce returnable glass bottles of Coca Cola is set to cease production Tuesday in Minnesota, the beverage giant said.

The final bottling run will involve about 6,000 of the small bottles that were produced in the 1940s and 1950s, KARE-TV, Minneapolis, reported.

Coca-Cola Bottling Co. of Winona, Minn., will ship the last bottle off the assembly line to the beverage company”s headquarters in Atlanta, Ga.

Coca-Cola said upgrades to the factory would not have been a good business decision economically.
