March 6, 2003Bushwhacked is a collection of articles written by Uri Dowbenko, the best of which shine a light on long-standing government corruption, the Bush family and the New World Order, in addition to some esoteric ones that might better have been left out of this particular book.

Dowbenko has several excellent chapters on the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) fraud, including the Harvard connection and the lies the government told the courts in its efforts to destroy Hamilton Securities, an innovative software company that saved the government an estimated $2.2 billion in lost revenue through successful auctions of defaulted HUD properties.

Ironically, Hamiltons president, Catherine Austin Fitts, had served as assistant secretary for housing-federal housing commissioner in the Bush administration from 1989 to 1990. Considered a Wall Street revolutionary who made millions for Dillon, Read and Co., Fitts, through Hamiltons contract for disposing of HUD properties, was upsetting the carefully constructed applecart of the criminals in HUD, the Department of Justice and the private sector who had been benefiting from buying up defaulted HUD properties for pennies on the dollar.

Another irony is that it wasnt the Bush administration that wanted Hamilton destroyed, but the Clinton administration, which again proves political party labels are worthless.

Then there is the Bush family, or the Bush Crime Family, as Dowbenko calls it. Name a criminal enterprise and, according to Dowbenko and the people he has interviewed, you will find a Bush connection

The most explosive charge in the book comes from whistleblower Stew Webb, about whom reporter Sarah McClendon wrote in her Dec. 24, 1991, Washington Report column, Stew Webb cannot lay his head on a pillow at home because he must keep running from the FBI which wants to jail him for talking publicly how private industry was involved in raising money for covert action by the CIA and also how Bush friends in Denver are involved in using government housing money for developments and profitmaking.

Webb charges that Hillary Clinton and the Rose Law Firm were the money launderers for the Bush criminal enterprises. One of those enterprises was shady real estate limited partnerships they suckered members of Congress to invest in for the purpose of blackmailing them. Compromised in the Boulder Properties Ltd. deal were Charles Schumer (D), now US senator from New York, Rep. Stephen Solarz (D), Rep. Ron Dellums (D), Senator David Boren (D), Rep. Bill Alexander (R).

Perhaps this helps to explain why Congress, in general, and the Democrats, in particular, are afraid to stand up to the current Bush administration. How many more previous and current members of Congress are on the cabals blackmail list for having allowed themselves to be compromised by the lure of profits?

Then there is the chilling statement Iran-contra insider Al Martin told Dowbenko that Jeb Bush made to him in 1986, during a visit to Jebs Bush Codina Realty office in Miami: The truth is useless. You have to understand this right now. You cant deposit the truth in a bank. You cant buy groceries with the truth. You cant pay rent with the truth. The truth is a useless commodity that will hang around your neck like an albatrossall the way to the homeless shelter. And if you think that the million or so people in this country that are really interested in the truth about their government can support people who would tell them the truth, you got another think coming. Because the million or so people in this country that are truly interested in the truth dont have any money.

Bushwhacked is a must read for both those struggling to understand who is behind what has happened in the US and for those putting together the pieces of the puzzle, as Bush II is about to plunge us into the second of his endless warsIraq.
